Gail Moldovan-Trujillo Joins Team To Coordinate CEC Courses In Oregon


Reinforcing its commitment to educating the public on effective mitigation practices, Smart Vent Products, Inc. is pleased to announce that Gail Moldovan-Trujillo has joined the team as Oregon’s new Educational Coordinator. On behalf of the industry leading manufacturer of foundation flood vents, Ms. Moldovan-Trujillo’s will provide approved training classes, to insurance agencies, surveyors, floodplain managers and other industry professionals to teach proper flood venting mitigation techniques and the importance of building to NFIP standards and beyond.

With almost 25 years experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Moldovan-Trujillo currently works at Hagan Hamilton Insurance Agency as a sales agent, Branch Supervisor and part-time educator. As a seasoned professional, she became a certified continuing education instructor, teaching courses on flood insurance for National Flood Services, and is a proud partner of FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). She became nationally recognized when asked to present for H2O Partners, FEMA’s NFIP Training Contractor, providing flood insurance seminars across the states of Oregon and Washington.

Ms. Moldovan-Trujillo is known for her passion for the insurance industry and has twice achieved the designation as Insurance Woman of the Year for the International Association of Insurance professionals local chapter. Gail was nationally recognized in 2011 at the National Flood Conference as agent of the year. She has dedicated many hours in educating other agents, consulting for public entities and staying current with the many changes of the industry.
